Priest Appreciation

-- Bishop Gallagher Council 6297 was pleased to host a celebratory dinner in honor of our three Parish Priests.  Each priest was given a small token of our appreciation, a framed picture of apples from the valley.  The picture was a perfect symbol of our three parishes, three priests and the Father, Son and Holy Spirit surrounding a heart shaped leaf signifying each of us. The water droplets on each apple and the leaf signify the tears we all shed when we are forgiven. Also each framed picture had a plaque stating the date and reason for the gift along with each priest's name.
Father Saulnier is in charge of St. Monica's in Middleton, Father Nelligan is the Catholic Priest for CFB Greenwood and is in charge of Queen of Heaven and Father Cahill is in charge of St. Anthony's in Berwick. Sunday February 21st saw approximately 100 parishioners (a sold out event) crowd into the Queen of Heaven annex to honor our priests. The evening was a great success due to the hard work of our members.
